Flor Impressions:

‘Cenizas’ balances sharp, mouth-watering acidity with a broad, opulent texture, offering vibrant flavors of lime, kiwi, and tropical guava. Sourced from a unique, single-estate vineyard planted in 1993 near Lake Colbún in the pre-Andean foothills of the Maule Valley, the fruit thrives on cool, south-facing slopes at an elevation of 1,800 feet. The estate's distinct soil composition of pure volcanic ash over a granite base infuses the wine with a complex, chalky minerality and a tapering, slightly salty finish.

About The Producer:

Laberinto is an acclaimed Chilean boutique winery founded by winemaker Rafael Tirado in the Colbún area of the Maule Valley. Nestled at the foothills of the Andes Mountains, the estate is famous for its unique vineyards planted in the shape of a geometric labyrinth on volcanic ash soils. This unique design allows different blocks to catch varying sun exposures, resulting in incredibly complex, tension-filled wines with signature mineral and smoky undertones.
