Castell’in Villa is a historic, 54-hectare estate located in the southernmost commune of Castelnuovo Berardenga within the Chianti Classico zone. Since 1968, the estate has been fiercely driven by Princess Coralia Pignatelli della Leonessa, who has earned a legendary reputation for her uncompromising, traditional winemaking philosophy. The vineyards are cultivated organically on complex, alluvial soils rich with pebbles and limestone, giving the fruit a distinct structural power. Known for rejecting modern trends, the winery produces exceptionally long-lived, 100% Sangiovese wines that are celebrated for their savory complexity, firm tannins, and remarkable aging potential.
