Founded in 2016 by Camille Thiriet and Matt Chittick, Domaine Camille Thiriet is a rising star in Burgundy that began as a "garage" project with no electricity or running water. Based in Comblanchien, the estate has grown to roughly six hectares of vines, emphasizing organic farming and meticulous, hands-on production including horse-plowing and manual labeling. Camille, who was originally drawn to perfumery, brings an intuitive and sensory-focused approach to her winemaking, utilizing native yeasts and minimal sulfur to produce wines known for their purity and aromatic complexity. The domaine has quickly gained a cult following for elevating overlooked terroirs in the southern Côte de Nuits to a level of quality often compared to more prestigious Premier Cru sites.

Jasper Morris:

"Made from 90-year-old vines, using 50% whole bunch vinification. Mid ruby, strawberry fruit with a smoky edge. En La Place is its usual attractive self, just a little lighter than previous years. "
