We are excited to offer you the most recent release from Maison Chantereves. This release would normally be all 2024 vintage, but is in fact a mixture of 2024 and 2023's that have had some extra time. The summer of 2024 was very challenging in Burgundy and part way through the summer Tomoko and Guillaume, the husband and wife that run Chantereves, knew they had to plan into the future and adjust their releases for the next few years. They decided to do two things. To hold back some of their 2023's in bottle, so they have more time to develop, and for practical reasons, so there would be continuity in releases and sales. They also made the decision to hold some of the wines in cask for an extra year - labeling them Elevage Prolonge - which is something they hope to be able to with more of their wines one day. Back in March, Andy was in Burgundy and visited with Guillaume and got to taste many of the wines that would be part of this release, and pick his favorites for Flor Wines. (He also tasted some delicious '25's, so there are great things to come next year!) These wines will arrive at Flor on Tuesday, grab them before they land!
