Planted in the 1960s. East/southeast-facing, mid-slope, reddish sandy-loam soil rich in oxidized iron, well-draining.
Jasper Morris (tasted in 2024): Purchased grapes, from old vines. An even glowing purple. This is a little stricter, full raspberry nose, crunchy red fruit with a little pepper. Cherries going on at the back, decent length.
Andy's impression March '26 at domaine:
"Nice, tight core of fruit. Little meatiness. Amazing minerality, and very cool austerity. I was thinking about this wine for hours afterwards."
