About the producer:

The estate, perfectly nestled high on the Italian mountainside, is owned winemaker husband and wife Brigitte and Florian Unterthiner. While the two are fairly young, one would not have guessed it by the complexity and craftsmanship of their cuvees. They are the third generation of winemakers in their family and tradition runs deep. They keep their ideologies very simple and live by them: sustainability, quality, and authenticity. Through these lenses they are able to pass along a memorable experience to their guests and anyone that drinks their amazing wine.

About the cuvee:

Vernatsch, also known as Schiava and Trollinger, tends to produce light bodied wines with fresh acidity. Ebner's 2022 is a prime example, showing notes of fresh strawberries, with accents of herbs and smoke. Light on the palate, it can be chilled for summer enjoyment.
