Founded in 2010 by enologist Luca Faccenda and engineer Carolina Roggero, Valfaccenda is a certified organic estate dedicated to crafting low-intervention natural wines in the steep, sandy hills of Piedmont's Roero region. Operating out of a renovated family farmhouse near the hamlet of Madonna di Loreto, the couple prioritizes indigenous grape varieties that authentically mirror the distinct minerality of their historic terroir. While their estate wines emphasize local parcels, the approachable 'Bis-Lacco' Vino Bianco belongs to their experimental "Bis" lineup, which seeks out alternative territorial expressions. To produce this specific bottle, Valfaccenda sources fruit from trusted organic grower friends located along the Monferrato border. This collaborative approach pairs (60%) Cortese grapes grown in chalky soils with (40%) Arneis grown in sandy plots, yielding a highly refreshing and lively entry-level blend.

Cortese grapes are pressed directly while the Arneis grapes undergo a brief, light skin maceration, after which both varieties are fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged entirely in stainless steel tanks to protect their vibrant, crisp freshness.
