Founded in 2000 by Molly and Darrel Roby, Twill Cellars is a small-scale Oregon project dedicated to producing site-specific wines that reflect the diverse terroirs of the northern Willamette Valley. Winemaker Chris Dickson employs a low-impact approach in the cellar, focusing on restraint and minimal intervention to allow each vineyard’s unique character to remain at the forefront. The winery prioritizes sustainability and dry-farming, sourcing fruit from high-quality, organically managed sites that highlight the nuances of each vintage.
This particular Pinot Noir is sourced from Bracken Vineyard, a volcanic-soil site planted in 2016 at the top of the Eola Bench, where cool winds from the Van Duzer Corridor help develop the wine's characteristic deep red fruit and brooding structure.
