Sébastien Brunet took over his family's estate in 2007 and has since established himself as a key figure among Vouvray's new generation of low-intervention vignerons. Operating out of a converted 16th-century underground limestone mushroom farm, the domaine consists of 15 hectares of hand-harvested, organically farmed Chenin Blanc vines. For the 'La Rocherie' Brut, grapes are sourced from a selection of 30-year-old vines planted in classic clay and flint soils along the Brenne Valley. While 80% of the fruit comes directly from Brunet's estate parcels, the remaining 20% is carefully selected from trusted local growers in the region.
