Pojer e Sandri founded in 1975 by friends Mario Pojer, a recent enology graduate, and Fiorentino Sandri, who had just inherited his family's vineyards in the little-known region of Faedo, Trentino. Their ambitious goal was to prove the area capable of producing world-class wines, and their very first release, a Müller-Thurgau, immediately caused a stir in the Italian wine scene. Today, the winery is highly respected for its innovative approach, which balances a deep respect for local traditions and indigenous grapes with scientific experimentation and a commitment to minimal intervention in the vineyard and cellar. They are considered trend-setters in Italy, producing a wide range of acclaimed wines, grappas, and even high-quality artisanal vinegars.
The Solaris grapes for the "Zero Infinito" are sourced from the Maso Rella vineyard, located at a high elevation of 800 to 900 meters in the Cembra Valley.
