Pielihueso is a low-intervention, family-owned winery founded in 2017 by Alejandro Bartolomé and his daughters, Celina and Carmela, in the high-altitude Uco Valley of Mendoza, Argentina. The estate practices organic and sustainable farming across two primary estates in Los Chacayes and San Carlos, utilizing sandy and alluvial soils situated over 4,000 feet above sea level to craft vibrant, minimally filtered wines.
Their Primero Blanco 2025 highlights this unique terroir through an un-oaked, co-fermented blend of 50% Torrontés, 25% Sauvignon Blanc, and 25% Chardonnay. By focusing on native yeast fermentation and bottling without structural corrections or heavy filtering, the winery creates a pure, bright reflection of their sustainably managed vines.
