Notes from Bodega Peidra Fluida:
"Bodega Piedra Fluida, a project that began its journey with the 2018 harvest. We have been climbing every step, year after year, from the sea level to the vineyards at more than 1,650 meters high, currently the highest vineyards in Europe.
The scenario where our wine grows is placed in 26 hectares of our own elevated vineyards. This field creates our Protected Designation of Origin wine, in Tenerife, Canary Island. In this volcanic soil with extreme temperatures, a unique organic, ecological and exquisite wine is produced.
About the cuvee:
"Varieties: Listán Negro 100%.
Area of origin: El Farroillo (600 masl) and Tamaide (550 masl), Santa Úrsula. Type of training: Traditional trellis over 80 years old in El Farroillo and double cordon on Espalier 25 years old in Tamaide.
Tasting notes: Cherry red wine with violet edges. Medium-bodied. On the nose it is a complex wine, with notes of red fruits, balsamic notes, spices and smoked notes. On the palate it is a fresh, broad and persistent wine, but easy to drink. It will have an adequate development in the bottle for at least the next 6 years."
