Impressions: ‘Spolu’ means together and is the perfect name for this blend of red and white grapes. This is a deceptively complex wine as it’s easy for its seductive, highly aromatic profile to command all of your attention. Pristine notes of red cherries, raspberries, hibiscus and mountain herbs leap from the glass. The palate is silky and juicy, with a lively acidity that easily sways the wine towards a whisper of smooth tannins. The finish is fruity, surprisingly spicy and unexpectedly lengthy. Truly unique and best enjoyed with a slight chill.
About The Producer: Naboso is run by couple Nadja Peltzer and Andrej Miklušičák in Bratislava, Slovakia. Nadja is originally from Germany and discovered her passion for wine while working on a vineyard in Austria. Andrej has been making wine for about a decade, while also working at a wine bar in Copenhagen. The farming is organic and all of the wines are spontaneously fermented, aged using neutral oak and/or acacia barrels. There is no mechanical stressing. The winemaking is carried out by gravity.
