Lomas de Llahuén is the heartfelt project of Gustavo Riffo, a third-generation winemaker dedicated to preserving the viticultural heritage of Chile’s Itata Valley. After gaining experience at larger estates, Riffo returned to his family’s land in Portezuelo to champion the traditional "Pipeño" style, focusing on low-intervention techniques and native yeast fermentations. His work emphasizes the cultural importance of the region, transforming local varieties into vibrant, honest wines that reflect the soul of the rural countryside.
