Le Ragnaie is an acclaimed Tuscan estate managed by Riccardo and Jennifer Campinoti, celebrated for crafting highly elegant, traditionally styled Sangiovese. The winery spans some of the highest-elevation vineyards in the Montalcino appellation, allowing the vines to maintain exceptional freshness and vibrancy even during warm growing seasons. For their Rosso di Montalcino, fruit is sourced from a collection of these high-altitude plots, including the signature estate vineyards surrounding the winery at 2,000 feet above sea level. These cooler microclimates, combined with certified organic farming and aging in large Slavonian oak vats, impart a distinctively crisp acidity, fine tannins, and signature saline minerality to the wine.
