Kelley Fox Wines is a boutique Oregon winery founded in 2007 by winemaker Kelley Fox, dedicated to crafting deeply expressive, low-intervention Pinot Noir from the historic vineyards of the Willamette Valley. Her winemaking philosophy centers on biodynamic practices, native yeast fermentations, and aging exclusively in neutral oak to allow the unique terroir of each site to shine through clearly. For this particular bottling, fruit is meticulously sourced from the South Bishop Block of the legendary Durant Vineyard, one of the oldest commercial vineyards in the Dundee Hills AVA. Originally planted in the 1970s and 1980s, these old, self-rooted Pommard clone vines thrive in iron-rich, volcanic Jory soils, lending the wine its signature vibrant red fruit profile, structural elegance, and crystalline minerality.
