"The 2023 Wachenheimer Rotenberg Chardonnay is from a plot planted in 2017 with 18,700 vines per hectare that yielded 18 to 19 hectoliters per hectare in 2023. It is deep, intense and complex on the slightly reductive nose that represents a great, yet less well-known terroir in the Zellertal. Very elegant and refined on the palate, this is a pure, intense and complex, juicy and persistently saline Chardonnay with great substance and length. This is a superb new entry to the Keller portfolio that will gain even more complexity and richness the older the vines become. However, it is stunning how good this 2023 already is from seven-year-old vines."
