Hoty Wines is an independent, low-intervention wine label founded by the dynamic duo Perry Heistuman and Eli Doty, who bonded over a shared passion for viticulture and the hospitality industry while in college. Pronounced like "hottie" as a play on their last names and vibrant personalities, the brand was officially born when they were offered an opportunity to craft custom wine from unsold fruit at the historic No Clos Radio estate. Perry anchors the production with classical training that includes working an Italian harvest at age 19 and studying viticulture at Oregon State University, while Eli brings extensive restaurant expertise and is pursuing his advanced WSET diploma. Focusing on fresh, texturally engaging, and highly smashable white blends—like their signature Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris co-ferments—the brand has quickly caught the attention of Portland’s natural wine community.
