Granville Wine Co. is a family-owned, boutique winery nestled in Oregon's acclaimed Willamette Valley, co-founded by winemaker Jackson Holstein and his wife, Ayla. Deeply committed to the concept of holism, the estate champions regenerative agriculture, organic principles, and biodynamic farming to let each vineyard's unique terroir speak for itself. For this specific bottling, they source fruit from the breathtaking Koosah Vineyard, an extreme, high-elevation site in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA ranging from 800 to 1,100 feet. This windswept, high-altitude terroir forces the vines to struggle against cold Pacific breezes, resulting in low-yielding, concentrated berries that impart the wine's signature chiseled acidity and alpine minerality. Through meticulous, low-intervention winemaking, Granville transforms these distinctive grapes into a Chardonnay defined by its vibrant energy, exceptional structure, and pure sense of place. context."
