Vigneux is derived from vigne, meaning vineyard. From two parcels in Vigneux, located below Les Suchots 1er Cru on shallow gravels and clay-limestone.
From the Wine Advocate:
"The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Vigneux unwinds in the glass, shedding a subtle touch of reduction to reveal aromas of plums, rose petals and spices. Medium to full-bodied, layered and textural, with lively acids and a mineral finish, it's more structured and serious than the Quatrain."
