Domaine des Miquettes was founded in 2003 by Paul Estève and Chrystelle Vareille in Cheminas, a village at the high southern end of the Saint-Joseph appellation. The estate spans organic and biodynamic vineyards planted on steep granite hillsides, which are meticulously farmed by hand and horse. Dedicated to low-intervention winemaking, the estate has produced completely sulfur-free natural wines since 2014 to ensure the truest expression of their fruit. Their signature cuvées are uniquely aged in buried terracotta amphorae (qvevri), combining ancient Georgian methods with traditional Northern Rhône terroir.
