Notes from Becky Wasserman & Co.:
"Multiple vineyards: Champerrier, Derée, la Justice, Sylvie, la Burie, la Platiére. Planted from 1932 to 1937. 100% de-stemmed, crushed, ambient yeast fermentation. Aged 16 months in barrels (20% new)."
Neal Martin:
"The 2024 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes has a well defined bouquet with raspberry and wild strawberry fruit, just a little more composed and precise than the Fixin. The palate is well balanced with fine tannins, quite lace-like, ample ripe blueberry and allspice notes towards the forward finish."
