This blend of 70% Segalin and 30% Malbec highlights the indigenous Segalin grape that produces a light-bodied and refreshing Gamay-like experience. You're instantly seduced by aromas and flavors of wild strawberries, red currants, and a hint of earthy spice. The wine's low tannins and bright acidity make it exceptionally easy-drinking "glou glou" which is best enjoyed with a slight chill.
Clos d'Audhuy is a family-owned, certified organic and biodynamic estate in the Cahors appellation, managed by third-generation winemaker Benoit Aymard since 2014. The winery is dedicated to expressing the unique terroir of its diverse vineyard plots, which span from the Lot Valley terraces to higher limestone plateaus. Benoit Aymard's winemaking philosophy focuses on minimal intervention to produce fresh, fruit-forward Malbecs that move away from the region's traditionally austere style, prioritizing purity and drinkability.
