Founded in 1889, Champagne Laherte Frères is a visionary grower house renowned for its rigorous dedication to organic and biodynamic viticulture under sixth-generation winemaker Aurélien Laherte. This particular cuvée is meticulously sourced from 25- to 50-year-old Pinot Meunier vines rooted in the deep limestone-clay soils of the Côteaux Sud d'Épernay.

To highlight the pure essence of this heritage grape, the estate blends three distinct winemaking styles: 60% immediate-press white wine for freshness, 30% skin-macerated saignée juice for aromatic depth, and 10% still red wine from old vines for vinous structure. Fermented with native yeasts in seasoned oak foudres and aged on its lees for at least two years, the bottle is finished with a minimal 2.5 g/L dosage. The resulting champagne is a masterclass in craftsmanship, celebrated globally for its electric salinity, bright red berry notes, and expressive terroir character.
