Located in the Briona hills of Alto Piemonte, the Francesca Castaldi winery is a small, family-run estate with farming roots dating back to the 1700s. After generations of selling grapes to cooperatives, Francesca took over in 1997, modernizing the vineyards with sustainable, organic-practicing viticulture and a focus on indigenous varieties like Nebbiolo and Erbaluce. Today, she runs the 6.5-hectare estate alongside her son Marco.
