Benjamin Leroux is a highly-respected négociant and vigneron based in Beaune, widely considered one of Burgundy's most talented winemakers. After managing the prestigious Domaine du Comte Armand for 15 years, he established his own label in 2007, building a reputation for precise, elegant, and vibrant wines. Leroux meticulously sources grapes from top growers, while also farming his own estate holdings organically and biodynamically. His expansive portfolio offers a transparent expression of the Côte d'Or's diverse terroirs, from village-level wines to Grand Crus.

About the cuvee:

Sourced from three lieux-dits with sandy-textured soil: Les Saucours, Aux Fournaux, Ez Connardises.

Jasper Morris:

"Fresh vigorous purple. The fruit has the more savoury edge of Savigny-lès-Beaune, good grip on the palate, absolutely clean fruit, perhaps not the generous feel through the middle, but some finesse. A drier finish. Drink from 2028-2031. Tasted Oct 2025."
