Benjamin Leroux is a highly-respected négociant and vigneron based in Beaune, widely considered one of Burgundy's most talented winemakers. After managing the prestigious Domaine du Comte Armand for 15 years, he established his own label in 2007, building a reputation for precise, elegant, and vibrant wines. Leroux meticulously sources grapes from top growers, while also farming his own estate holdings organically and biodynamically. His expansive portfolio offers a transparent expression of the Côte d'Or's diverse terroirs, from village-level wines to Grand Crus.

This blend is almost exclusively from domain grapes. The lieux-dits are sprinkled throughout Meursault: Les Criots is on the Volnay side, Au Moulin Landin is in the center, Les Millerands is closer to Puligny, and the Bois de Blagny has a higher elevation (giving tension and minerality to the blend).

Jasper Morris:

"The usual blend, all of their own vines, though Bois de Blagny has since been pulled out. Ben will go for wider rows with higher training and some agroforestry. Pale lemon yellow. The Meursault blend has a really refined nose, and is fine boned on the palate with just the right generosity of fruit. Balanced ripeness, balanced acidity and then just an extra little kick of concentration. Drink from 2028-2032. Tasted Oct 2025."
