Domaine André et Mireille Tissot, now run by Bénédicte and Stéphane Tissot, is a benchmark biodynamic producer in the Jura region of France. The family estate, founded in 1962, spans approximately 45–50 hectares of biodynamically farmed vineyards near Arbois. Stéphane converted the vineyards to organic farming in the 1990s and received biodynamic certification in 2004, a process that relies heavily on natural terroir and native yeast fermentation. The winery's ethos focuses on low-intervention methods to express the unique character of its diverse vineyard plots, which include prestigious sites with clay and limestone soils.
