COS is the benchmark producer in the Vittoria region and among the most highly regarded in all of Sicily. Comprised of 60% Nero d'Avola and 40% Frappato, the Cerasuolo di Vittoria bottling is arguably the top cuvée from this estate and as such sees longer aging time in barrel and bottle. Pristine aromas of fresh raspberries and mandarins emanate from the glass. The vibrant acidity carries with it a lip-smacking juicy texture that eases into a mild, cedar-like tannic bite with a complex herbal, earthy, and salty finish.
