Aitia, led by winemaker Laura Brennan Bissell, is a project dedicated to showcasing the unique terroir of Underwood Mountain on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge AVA. Their vineyards, located at 1700 feet, practice organic, dry-farmed, own-rooted, and no-till viticulture, allowing nature to flourish with minimal intervention. Aitia's focus is on crafting wines that reflect the distinctive characteristics of the high-elevation, volcanic soils and cool-climate of the region, emphasizing serene minerality and bright acidity.
