Villa di Corlo is a historic, family-owned estate in the heart of Modena, Italy, with roots dating back to the late 1600s. The winery, run by Maria Antonietta Munari, began commercial winemaking in 1998 with the specific mission to elevate Lambrusco from a simple table wine to a high-quality, respected sparkling red. The estate is a leader in sustainability within the region, utilizing solar power for its entire operation and adhering to organic farming practices to produce authentic, character-driven wines. In addition to their celebrated 'Rolfshark' Lambrusco Grasparossa, they are also renowned producers of traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena.
