The Language of Yes is the latest project from celebrated California winemaker Randall Grahm, known for his Rhone varietal advocacy and founding Bonny Doon Vineyard. A collaboration with Maze Row, the project focuses on bringing an Old World sensibility to California's Central Coast using Rhone varieties from cooler vineyard sites. The Cuvée Sinso is a red blend that is primarily Cinsault and Syrah, with the fruit being co-fermented and aged in neutral barrels and stainless steel. The vineyards for this wine, including the cool-climate Rancho Réal Vineyard in the Santa Maria Valley AVA, are chosen for their unique terroir that allows Grahm to create an original style informed by southern France without merely replicating it.
