Jonathan's Pick
Despite coming from 2020, Aglianico is a grape known for immortal youthfulness and freshness. The primary fruit is still vibrant with firm tannins that I would describe as energetic, rather than softened by age. Thanks to distant sea breezes that waft through olive groves, prominent notes of Mediterranean scrub (macchia) and wild herbs coat the palate, with gentle "green" balsamic undertones providing a sharp, aromatic contrast to its deep black cherry flavors.
