Established in 1889, Champagne Robert Moncuit is a family-run estate located in the Grand Cru village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Currently led by fourth-generation winemaker Pierre Amillet, the estate manages approximately eight hectares of vines exclusively planted to Chardonnay across the renowned chalky terroirs of Le Mesnil and Oger. The winery is celebrated for its precise, mineral-driven Blanc de Blancs produced without pesticides or herbicides and aged extensively on the lees to capture the purity of its Grand Cru sites. Their signature style emphasizes low to zero dosage, allowing the intense saline and chalky characteristics of the Côte des Blancs to shine through.
The "Les Grands Blancs" cuvée is sourced exclusively from Grand Cru parcels within the prestigious Côte des Blancs villages of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oger. These sites are defined by pure Campanian chalk soils and shallow topsoils, which provide the intense minerality and sharp acidity characteristic of this bottle.
