Wines Scheduled To Arrive In December

Musigny Grand Cru, along with Romanée-Conti and La Tâche, represents some of the greatest terroirs in all of Burgundy. The vineyard itself consists of 2 sections divided by a path. The southern part Les Petits Musigny is part of the Comte Georges de Vogüé monopole, while the northern part, Grand Musigny or Musigny is where Mugnier's vines are situated. As is the case with bottles of this caliber, they are best to be approached as unforgettable bottled experiences.

Notes from Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier:

"Our approach to both viticulture and wine-making is aimed at preserving in the wines the purest expression of Nature with minimal interference from technological practices. We have a pragmatic approach to viticulture and we favor hand work and preventative protection methods in the vineyard. The purpose is not to eradicate pests and diseases but to preserve or  restore a rich and active ecosystem.

With healthy and ripe grapes grown on the greatest terroirs, wine-making only has to be kept simple and respectful."
