Lagar de Fornelos is a modern winery in the O Rosal subzone of Spain's Rías Baixas region, owned by the esteemed La Rioja Alta group since 1988. The grapes for the Pazo de Seoane O Rosal are sourced from the winery's own large estate vineyards, situated along the Miño River. The wine is a blend of native Galician varieties, predominantly Albariño with the addition of Loureiro, Caiño Blanco, and Treixadura, which thrive in the area's warmer climate and schistous sandy soils.
