Notes from Triangle Wine Co:

"Paltrinieri is a family winery three generations and running. The vineyards and winery are just north of Modena in Emilia-Romagna. The Paltrinieris have 15 hectares of vineyards. Farming is a carefully-calibrated lotta integrata (lutte raisonnee in French; “sustainable” is probably the closest analogue in English). All fermentations, both primary and secondary, are with native yeasts and are longer than the norm. The longer fermentations “help preserve what’s there” in the grapes.

Ruby red with light violet reflections. Inviting aroma of violets, redcurrants and wild strawberries. Delicately fruity, dry and crisp on the palate with a lively acidity and fine, sparkling perlage. Brings freshness and drinking pleasure to every garden party. Goes perfectly with finger food, cold cuts, prosciutto and more.

The 2024 Lambrusco di Sorbara Sant'Agata captivates with a sweetly floral bouquet of violet, lavender, wild blueberries and confectionary spice. Sharply focused upon entry, it quickly fleshes out on the palate with chalky mineral tones and crisp wild berry fruits. A cascade of inner florals resonates as the 2024 finishes with outstanding length and saline depth, leaving behind a lasting tinge of savory herbs."
