Late March Arrival

Pernand-Vergelesses 'Les Vignes Blanches', Combe d’Echevronne, at the base of a sloping hillside, under ‘Les Plantes des Champs et Combottes’, southwest-facing.

"This small plot of two ouvrées has made a lovely wine in 2024. Full lemon yellow. Super classy, clearly a more exciting bouquet, more weight and more fruit volume. Sound acidity though Nicolas finds that this can fall off quickly, if you do not pick at the right moment. He has struck it right on this occasion for sure! Drink from 2027-2029. Tasted Nov 2025."
