Founded by Marisa Bacher, a former assistant winemaker for Mario Fontana at Cascina Fontana, this micro-winery is centered around a reclaimed one-hectare hilltop vineyard in Monforte d’Alba. Bacher launched her solo project in 2020, focusing on "artisanal wines with soul" made from ancient, organic vines and traditional methods, such as vinification in cement tanks. Her philosophy emphasizes expressing the authentic freshness of the Piedmont terroir through small-batch productions of Dolcetto, Barbera, and more recently, Nebbiolo. Today, she operates from a small garage winery in Castagnito while continuing to manage her heritage plots in the heart of the Langhe.
Dolcetto for Marisa Bacher's Vino Rosso are sourced from a specific one-hectare hilltop vineyard in Monforte d'Alba, in the heart of the Langhe region.
