Notes from Kobrand Wine & Spirits:
"Jadot’s parcel of the Grand Cru vineyard of Bonnes Mares lies within the commune of Chambolle-Musigny, on steep slopes rising above the village of Chambolle. In this vineyard, the calcium content of the soil is relatively low, making for a more robust wine than Le Musigny, although extremely elegant. The Pinot Noir grapes are fermented in vats for up to one month and matured in oak barrels for 18 to 20 months before bottling."
