Founded in 2011 by Anglo-Australian couple Andrew and Emma Nielsen, Le Grappin is a micro-négociant based in Beaune, Burgundy. The Nielsens specialize in sourcing organically-farmed fruit from small, often overlooked vineyard sites and creating high-quality, low-intervention wines. They apply exceptional care in both the vineyard and cellar to produce bottles that express the unique character of each site. The winery is recognized for its commitment to sustainability, hand-crafted wines, and for also producing the more affordable Du Grappin range from Beaujolais, Mâconnais, and the Rhône.

Les Truffières is a highly regarded south-facing Premier Cru parcel located in Montagny, within Burgundy's southern Côte Chalonnaise region. Its steep slopes are rich in Kimmeridgian limestone and clay, which historically hosted truffle patches before being planted with Chardonnay vines. This unique terroir captures intense sunlight while infusing the grapes with a distinct, stony minerality and a remarkably vibrant natural acidity.
