Founded in 2011 by Anglo-Australian couple Andrew and Emma Nielsen, Le Grappin is a micro-négociant based in Beaune, Burgundy. The Nielsens specialize in sourcing organically-farmed fruit from small, often overlooked vineyard sites and creating high-quality, low-intervention wines. They apply exceptional care in both the vineyard and cellar to produce bottles that express the unique character of each site. The winery is recognized for its commitment to sustainability, hand-crafted wines, and for also producing the more affordable Du Grappin range from Beaujolais, Mâconnais, and the Rhône.
For the Monthelie 'Les Toisieres', Le Grappin sources old vine Chardonnay grapes from a small parcel of vines located in the Monthelie appellation of the Côte de Beaune right next to Meursault.
