Notes from Robert Parker (tasted 1992):
"The Vosne-Romanee-Clos des Reas exhibits a deep ruby color, a sweet, earthy, leathery, black-raspberry-scented nose, rich, medium to full-bodied flavors, expansive texture, and soft tannins and low acidity in the long, lusty finish. In top vintages, this wine is always one of Burgundy's stars, so it is not surprising that it is top-notch in 1990."
