Notes from Wicks Fine Wine:

Jakob Schönberger was able to take over a beautiful winery from his parents and cultivates 16 hectares of vineyards around Mörbisch on the beautiful Lake Neusiedl. He cultivates special sites such as Seeacker, Waldacker, Kraften, Lehmgrube, and Goldberg. The vines thrive on valuable slate and clay soils. The wines have a regional character. The Schönberger family has always placed great importance on organic and sustainable cultivation. The vineyards are cultivated according to biodynamic methods. Particular emphasis is placed on old vines.

No additives are used during vinification. No fining or filtration of the wines. Apart from a minimal addition of sulfur during bottling, there are no additives in the wine.

The wines are very approachable, but also offer complexity and depth. They are very juicy wines with grip.
