It's estimated that primitive wine production first began in the Republic of Georgia and the Caucasus regions some 6,000 to 8,000 years ago. Despite this, Georgia is a mystery to many wine connoisseurs as the availability and quality may not always be as accessible as other European countries.
Lucky for us, we've been fortunate to have found Chris Schlueter and his fantastic Georgian wine import company GHVinos.
Chris lived in the Republic of Georgia for 5 years and while there, he and his wife Laurie fell in love with the country, its people, culture, cuisine and incredible wines. Upon return from Georgia to his home-base in Alaska, Chris and his long-time friend formulated Ghvinos Wine Group, leveraging his deep Georgia connections to bring well priced high quality and truly representative Georgian wine to the US West Coast.
We are thrilled to host Chris as he will be guiding us through a comprehensive tasting of six Georgian wine.
Each single ticket* price will be waived with a purchase of at least 2 bottles of the evening's wines on the night of the event.
Our doors will be closed to the public for this ticketed event which takes place on Wednesday, October 8th @ 6:30pm.
We hope you can join us for what promises to be an unforgettable tasting!
