Vazisubani Estate, the producer of the Georgian Sun line, was founded in 1891 by Georgian nobleman Sulkhan Chavchavadze. Today, the winery continues its legacy of blending heritage with innovation, crafting wines from indigenous grapes using both traditional qvevri and modern methods. Under the guidance of renowned winemaker Lado Uzunashvili, Vazisubani Estate champions Georgia's winemaking traditions while showcasing the quality of the Kakheti region to an international audience. The estate was meticulously restored in 2013 and now features a boutique hotel, vineyards, and gardens, making it a prominent wine-tourism destination.
