Frédéric Savart comes from a long line of winemakers and has been in charge of the domaine since 2005. Savart works almost exclusively with Pinot Noir from the Premier Cru’s Ecueil and Villers-aux-Noeuds in the Montagne de Reims. These terroirs produce rich textured wines that have become the house style. 

Le Mont des Chrétiens is a lieu dit in the village Ecueil. The parcel is entirely of Chardonnay and Fred ferments and ages it in 500L barrels. The dosage is 3g/L. (Fred used to call this cuvée Dame de Coeur.)
