Famille Fabre, one of the oldest independent wine producers in the Languedoc region of France, has been owned and managed by the family since 1605. A deep respect for nature led the family to convert their entire vineyard holdings across five châteaux to organic farming in 1991, becoming a pioneer in the region. Today, the 15th and 16th generations of the family continue this legacy, focusing on a blend of tradition, innovation, and environmental stewardship, including producing natural wines with no added sulfites.

Crafted from the stony, wind-swept clay-limestone terraces of Riss, the 'Lux du Luc' Languedoc Rosé 2024 is a serious, terroir-driven rosé de gastronomie. This AOP Languedoc estate blend of Cinsault, Syrah, and Grenache utilizes grapes harvested at night to maximize primary precursor retention, followed by a low-temperature stainless steel vinification without malolactic fermentation to lock in a bracing, crystalline acidity. In the glass, it shows a pale, bluish-pink hue, opening with an complex nose of wild strawberries, pomelo, and lemony citrus overlaying a distinct, rocky salinity. The palate shifts toward texturally elegant notes of rose petals and exotic fruits, driving through to a taut, mineral-focused finish that makes it an excellent pairing partner for grilled lobster, oysters, or Mediterranean crudo.

Soil
Clay, limestone, and sandstone. The vines thrive on windy, stony clay-limestone terraces that experience high diurnal temperature variations. This specific microclimate slows ripening to preserve vibrant acidity while the mineral-rich soils impart a distinct, rocky salinity to the grapes.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested at night to prevent oxidation and maximize aromatic freshness before undergoing a low-temperature fermentation in stainless steel. Malolactic fermentation is intentionally blocked to maintain a crisp, precise structure and a pristine expression of the fruit.
