Émilien Feneuil is a visionary grower-champagne producer managing a tiny, biodynamic estate of just 2.37 hectares in the northern Montagne de Reims. Deeply committed to radical biodiversity, he integrates agroforestry directly into his vineyards by allowing wild native trees to grow freely among his vines. His minuscule production is meticulously sourced from 17 micro-parcels spread across the Premier Cru villages of Sermiers, Chamery, and Écueil. By vinifying each distinct parcel separately in oak barrels with native yeasts and zero added sulfur, Feneuil crafts highly individualistic, living Champagnes that serve as pure, unfiltered translations of their specific terroirs.
