About the cuvee:
Le Mont" is a cuvee comprised of old vine Pinot Noir grown in the Grand Cru village of Louvois in the southern Montagne de Reims. This .233 hectare lieu-dit was planted in 1961.
The pinot grapes are given a very gentle pressing before alcoholic fermentationand elevage in large format oak barrels. It spent 36 months on tirage lees, and was bottled with no filtration or cold stabilization, and a light extra-brut dosage. 957 bottles produced."
